By accessing and using Telecast's podcast hosting and distribution services, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.
Permission is granted to temporarily use our platform for personal, non-commercial transitory viewing only. This is the grant of a license, not a transfer of title, and under this license you may not modify or copy the materials, use the materials for any commercial purpose, or attempt to reverse engineer any software contained on our platform.
Users are responsible for all content they upload, record, or distribute through our platform. Content must not violate any applicable laws, infringe on intellectual property rights, or contain harmful, offensive, or inappropriate material. We reserve the right to remove content that violates these guidelines.
We strive to provide reliable hosting and distribution services, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Our platform may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or technical issues. We will provide reasonable notice for scheduled maintenance.
Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy, which also governs your use of the service, to understand our practices regarding the collection and use of your information.
In no event shall Telecast or its suppliers be liable for any damages arising out of the use or inability to use our services, even if we have been notified orally or in writing of the possibility of such damage.
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
Members aged 18 and over can share local news, events, photos and short videos on Telecast for free. Community posts are shown with the label "User-submitted. Not verified by Telecast." Telecast does not check them before they appear, except that the first three posts from a new account are reviewed first.
By posting, you confirm that you took the photo or video or have the right to share it; that it is not a copy of a TV, radio or streaming broadcast; that it does not show anyone's private information (such as addresses, phone numbers, licence plates in focus or documents); and that it does not show identifiable minors without a parent's or guardian's consent. You keep ownership of what you post and give Telecast permission to host, display, resize and convert it on the site for as long as it stays posted.
Do not post spam, hate, threats, graphic violence, sexual content, false information presented as fact, or advertising. Limits apply: up to 5 posts and 2 videos per day, videos up to 10 minutes and 1 GB, and up to 6 photos per post.
Any member can report a post. Posts may be hidden automatically after reports and are then reviewed. We may remove any post or suspend posting for any account. You can delete your own posts at any time; their photos and videos are then removed from our storage. Media from posts that are hidden or rejected is deleted after 30 days.
If a post uses your copyrighted work or shows your private information, use the complaint form at /takedown. We hide the post while we review the complaint and aim to reply within 2 business days.

Telecast Marketplace is a free listing board where people in Canada and the United States can offer items for sale or for free. Telecast does not sell, buy, own, inspect or deliver any item, is not a party to any sale, and does not handle payments. Any deal is solely between the buyer and the seller, who are responsible for the item, its description, its price, payment, and the exchange.
To post a listing, send a message or report content you must be signed in, be 18 or older, and be in Canada or the United States. Visitors from other countries can browse but cannot post or send messages.
You may only list items you own or are allowed to sell, in your own words and with your own photos. You must follow the Marketplace rules, which list prohibited items (including weapons, drugs, alcohol, tobacco and vaping products, medicines, recalled products, animals, counterfeit goods, adult content, services, jobs, real estate and whole vehicles) and all applicable laws.
Listings are published right away and are reviewed on a best-effort basis. Some listings are held for review before they appear. A listing that receives 3 reports from different members is hidden automatically until a moderator looks at it. We may hold, hide or remove any listing or message, limit posting, or ban an account from the Marketplace if we believe it breaks these terms or the rules. Listings expire after 30 days unless renewed.
To protect members, contact details such as phone numbers and email addresses in a first message are hidden until the other person replies, and posting and messaging are rate-limited. Messages are private between the two members, but a moderator may read a conversation when one of the members reports it.
Telecast does not verify members, items or listings and makes no promise about their accuracy, quality, safety or legality. Meet in a public place and follow our safety tips. To report a problem, use the Report link on the listing or message, or contact us.
The community boards are public discussion boards for cities in Canada and the United States. Anyone can read them. To post, reply, send a private message or report you must be signed in, be 18 or older, and be in Canada or the United States.
Posts, replies and photos are written by members, appear right away, and are not checked by Telecast before they are published. Telecast does not verify what members post and makes no promise about its accuracy. You are responsible for what you post, and you must follow the community rules and all applicable laws. Only post text and photos you have the right to share.
A post or reply that receives 3 reports from different members is hidden automatically until a moderator looks at it. We may hide or remove any post, reply or message, close a post to replies, limit posting, or suspend an account from the boards and Marketplace if we believe it breaks these terms or the rules. Posting is rate-limited.
Buying and selling between members is solely between them; Telecast does not handle payments. Private messages work the same way as Marketplace messages: contact details in a first message are hidden until the other person replies, and a moderator may read a conversation when one of the members reports it.
Telecast shows paid ads from businesses ("advertisers") and, once approved by Google, Google ads. Paid ads are marked "Sponsored" and Google ads are marked "Advertisement". Ads never appear on Telecast Kids pages, sign-in, payment, pricing, admin or legal pages, and pop-up ads never appear on listening or video pages. Pro members and members who bought Remove Ads do not see ads.
Advertisers must be 18 or older, sign in, give accurate business and contact details, and accept these terms. Every ad is reviewed by Telecast before it runs and again after any change. Telecast may refuse, pause or remove any ad at its discretion. Ads must be legal in Canada, be truthful, and link to a secure (https) website that matches the ad. We do not accept ads for adult content, gambling, cryptocurrency or "get rich" schemes, weapons, tobacco, vaping or cannabis, payday loans, political or issue ads, or ads with misleading claims. Ad packages are one-time purchases for a set number of days, priced in US dollars. Canadian buyers are charged GST or HST at the rate for the province they give. Payment is taken up front; an ad only runs once it is both paid and approved. If Telecast rejects an ad, or does not review it within 3 business days, the payment is refunded in full. An advertiser may cancel before the ad starts for a full refund. After an ad starts there is no refund, unless Telecast removes the ad for a reason that is not the advertiser's fault, in which case Telecast may refund the unused days.
Advertisers are responsible for their ads, their links and what they offer, and confirm they have the rights to all text and images they upload. Telecast does not endorse advertisers or their products. Impression and click counts are provided as an estimate; we do not guarantee any number of views, clicks or sales.
